NO PREREQUISITES REQUIRED
Just pick what you like and register. There will always be a mix of certificate and non-certificate students in each course. Information on how you can get credit for courses already completed is provided in the section on Prior Learning Assessment Recognition - PLAR. Please feel free to talk to your instructor or the USCAD program staff at any time to learn more about USCAD and to find out whether a certificate program might be for you.
REGISTRATION
Registering for any course as a non-certificate student is easy. Just read the sections on USCAD Course Descriptions and USCAD Instructors and Schedules and follow the easy instructions to complete and submit the Registration Form.
Transfers from GENERAL INTEREST to USCAD
The design of the USCAD program is to be as flexible as possible to accommodate the needs of our learners. Opportunities will be made for those students who are enrolled in a course for general interest to apply to enter USCAD before the course is over - and have it counted as part of the certificate program as long as the certificate evaluation requirements for the course are fulfilled and requirements for admission are met. Students may wish to take several courses for general interest and decide at a later date that they are interested in USCAD. If the transfer to USCAD occurs within 6 months of completion of their course(s), then they simply apply for admission to USCAD and submit the $30 fee and apply to have their completed coursework evaluated. Course Evaluation Fees are $70/course. After six months, students still have the option to use the Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR) process.
