Registration and Administration Information

CONFIRMATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

The University of Saskatchewan reserves the right to cancel any course in the event of insufficient registration. If we do cancel a course, all funds will be returned to registrants. Course confirmation, information, materials lists and an official receipt will be forwarded to registrants by return mail.

REGISTRATION AND WITHDRAWAL INFORMATION

Deadline Policy
You may register in any course at any time. No deadlines apply. Please note that due to course participant number limits and the fact that many courses fill early, registration cannot be guaranteed. Early registration is recommended. Fees are listed on the Registration Form. Most 39 hour Courses are $269 with some exceptions.

GST is Waived
Since USCAD is considered a program of study, GST is not charged on any fees whether you are enrolled in USCAD or General Interest.

USCAD Application for Admission
Applications for Admission to USCAD are due at two times of the year:
1. By 4 p.m. on the second Friday of September annually.
2. By 4 p.m. on the first Friday of January annually.

Transfers
General Interest participants wishing to transfer to USCAD may do so at any time a course is in progress or within 6 months of completion of a course. They must apply for admission and pay the $30 fee. All post-course evaluation is subject to an evaluation fee of $70/course. After 6 months have passed, students can use PLAR to have former coursework recognized towards future study in USCAD. (See PLAR in this calendar)

Students who wish to transfer from one course to another can do so prior to the third course/week of the program. No transfers will be processed after this time. A Transfer Application Form must be submitted to the USCAD office. A $50 fee will be levied.

Withdrawal
Students wishing to withdraw from the USCAD Program must submit the USCAD/COURSE Withdrawal Notification Form to the USCAD Office.

Students may withdraw from a course at any time. The USCAD/Course Withdrawal Notification Form must be submitted to the USCAD Office. A $50 withdrawal fee is levied for withdrawing from a course up to 2 weeks prior to course start date. The remaining course funds are returned upon receipt of the original receipt. No course refund is processed after this time.
